What colors are suitable for logos?

Whilst designing one of the most important factors is to consider the color(s). For this, its fundamental to understand the psychology of color choices.


Colors suggest feelings and represent ideas. Knowledgeable and appropriate use of color plays a vital role in designing. Thoughts about color are different among different cultures and this must be taken into account. For example, white is the color of death in Chinese culture whereas purple represents death in Brazil. Yellow represents sacred to the Chinese which signifies sadness in Greece and jealousy in France. In North America, green is typically associated with jealousy. People from tropical countries respond most favourably to warm colors; people from northern climates prefer the cooler colors.

Green:
